Our assignments include design of remedial measures addressing eutrophication, assessments of where in river basins measures should be or can be located, prioritization of measures, monitoring and water sampling as a basis for prioritization of actions, and evaluation of the effects of implemented actions.

We manage and run installations and treatment systems such as Calcium filter beds, Phosphorus dams and constructed wetlands.

• ” Tommarp river project”. Effects of remedial measures – Nitrogen and Phosphorus in agriculture. Identification of suitable actions, design and implementation. The effects of the measures are assessed using automated monitoring stations. The results are integrated in computer modeling. For Tomelilla municipality, The County Board of Scania and the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management. 2011-2014.
• Installation of Calcium filter beds in Poland for evaluation based on water monitoring. For IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute. 2012-2013.

• Calcium filter beds and Phosphorus dams  – Kilaå river basin. For the County Board of Södermanland, with funding from the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management. Three Calcium filter beds and two Phosphorus dams were designed and installed during 2012-2013.  The Phosphorus removal capacity is evaluated with water monitoring during 2014.
• Installation and management of Calcium filter research stations at six locations in Sweden. Evaluation and monitoring using automated flow-proportional water sampling. For IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute. 2012-2013.
• Phosphorus dams and Calcium filter beds on the island of Mörkö. Three dams and three filter beds have been designed and are installed during 2013 and 2014. For the municipality of Södertälje and the County Board of Stockholm. 2012-2014.
